2010 Race Day Schedule

Schedule for Saturday, August 14, 2010 - Second Annual Douglas Lake Swim-a-thon

Race Day headquarters is at The Point Pavilion at Angelos' at The Point Restaurant.

8:00	Volunteer Orientation begins (The Point Pavilion)
8:00	Participant Registration / Check-in begins (The Point Pavilion - Review what to bring with you to Race Day)
9:00	Mandatory Open Water Swimming and Boating Safety Clinic (All swimmers and boat crews must attend. Please review and understand Boating Safety Guidelines.)
9:30	Swimmers and boat crews depart The Point Marina towards Day Board 12
10:00	Start of race
1:00	All swimmers exit the water even if not finished; Awards following

11AM-2PM - 10-min chair massage from licensed massage therapists from Appalachian Training Center for Healing Arts
