Register for the 3rd Annual Douglas Lake Swim-a-thon

2011 online pre-registration is now closed - Arrive at 8:00 AM to register and compete!

To expedite the Race Day registration process, please download the registration brochure and complete it prior to arriving at The Point.

Approximate 2 mile open water swim competition from buoys near Day Board 12 and The Point Marina in Dandridge by an individual or relay teams of up to 5 swimmers. Minimum age for a swimmer is 14 years old. All funds raised through entry fees and sponsorships will be donated to two local charities - the DMA Emergency Food Pantry and Safe Harbor Child Advocacy Center.

$40/swimmer (before July 31, 2011)
$50/swimmer (after July 31 through Race Day)

In 2011, we are awarding prizes to (A) FIRST PLACE TEAM, (B) TOP 3 MALE SOLO, (C) TOP 3 FEMALE SOLO and (D) TOP 3 FUNDRAISERS.

Official Douglas Lake Swim-a-thon tee shirts are also available for only $15 or two for $25.

Each swimmer is asked to bring at least one non-perishable food item to donate to the Dandridge Food Pantry on the day of the race.

Raise at least $150 in pledges, and your 2011 registration fee will be waived! Swimmers are encouraged to raise pledge money to maximize the total donations to the charities. Ask your family, friends & co-workers to sponsor you. Recognition and prizes will be awarded to the top three swimmers who raise the most money.

Registered swimmers should download a copy of the Sponsorship Pledge Form and begin collecting pledges. Pledge forms and money are due on Race Day during registration at 8:00 a.m.
