Prior to the Open Water Swimming and Boating Safety Clinic, please read and understand the boating safety guidelines.
Food service will be available at the Pavilion at Angelo's at The Point Restaurant throughout the day. The Picnic at the Pavilion is complimentary to all swimmers. Other guests and volunteers may buy a meal ticket for $10.
The community picnic is being held from 3:00-6:00 p.m. in the Pavilion behind The Point. For $10 (including tax and tip) you can eat well and join with other county residents in celebrating this worthwhile event.
Menu items consist of: Hot dogs, Hamburgers, Baked Beans, Chili, Cole Slaw, Corn on the Cob, Homemade brownies, Water, Soft Drinks, Iced Tea, Taxes, and Gratuity.
Silent Auction
There will also be a silent auction for you to bid on several items that have been donated. Many sponsors have contributed money and prizes to help with the success of this first annual Swim-a-thon.
Auction items include: Sterling Silver Black Sea Amber bracelet, Mary Frances purse, Bowl from RT Taylor of Knoxville, Schrade Knife, Framed Art, Handmade Socks.
