The Annual Douglas Lake Swim-a-thon committee would like to thank our generous inaugural sponsors!

As many of you are aware, we faced a variety of obstacles in our efforts in raising local sponsorship last year. With ours being a first-ever event, we did not have a benchmark to necessarily show how a sponsor would benefit. Coupled with the fact that a host of other organizations, events and advertising locales were competing for the same dollars, time and publicity, there just wasn't enough to go around.

But here's the great news: The people behind the logos and business cards (of our sponsors) recognized the immediate needs within our community and generously gave MORE in way of time and product contributions! Many had even personally donated money and sponsored swimmers. And here's the kicker - NONE of our sponsors once asked the question, "What's in it for me?"
